    The Warranty Coordinator will work under the direction of the Corporate Warranty Manager. The Warranty Coordinator will communicate with service managers,  service writers, and other office employees. The successful candidate will have solid customer service skills along with the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot. Computer skills and diesel technology knowledge is preferred.


    Additional job responsibilities will include:

    • Process and file warranty claims with various manufacturers as instructed by the Warranty Manager.
    • Review and clear all assigned warranty claims in pending status on a daily basis.
    • Provide rapid response to various requests from manufacturers to ensure warranty claims are processed in a timely manner.
    • Prepare all parts and core returns when requested by manufacturers.
    • Post credits and warranty payments to the Warranty Receivables Schedule as needed.
    • Reconcile the Warranty Receivable Schedule monthly.
    • Assist with the follow-up of all unpaid claims as directed by the Warranty Manager.
    • Close and post all warranty repair orders promptly.
    • Coordinate with others in the department to troubleshoot as necessary.
    • Complete Warranty training as required.
    • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
    • Manage time effectively and efficiently.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    • Must be at least 18 years old
    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Associate’s Degree Preferred
    • Automotive experience or mechanical knowledge preferred
    • Proficient personal computer skills including email, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
    • Problem solving and multi-tasking skills are required
