    Responsibilities

    As a CIT Trucks Service Clerical/Writer, you will be required to make the initial contact with our customers either in person or by phone. CIT Trucks holds a high standard of customer service and we expect all communication to be timely and thorough.

    Aspects of the job included:

    • Assisting in appointment scheduling
    • Addressing any customer issues
    • Obtaining customer information (vehicle data, verification of payment, and credit status checks)
    • Opening/closing repair orders
    • Writing detailed descriptions of all repairs performed
    • Contacting the customer immediately upon repair completion.

    The Service Clerical/Writer may be required to deliver the vehicle to the customer and answer any questions they may have pertaining to the repairs made. Certain portions of the job will be clerical including filing repair orders, maintaining parts backorder files, monitoring Work In Process (WIP) reports, collecting payments, and processing reconciliation reports.

    Qualifications

    • College degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required

    • Professional attitude and appearance with a strong work ethic
    • Desire to set and attain goals while conducting business honestly and with integrity
