    Responsibilities

    The Warehouse/Parts Delivery Driver position at CIT Trucks is an entry-level position in the core of the Parts Department with a variety of potential advancement opportunities and room to grow. The responsibilities of a CIT Trucks Warehouse/Parts Delivery Driver include the following:

     

    • Pulling ticket orders for customers, the service department, counter people, or for a route.
    • Loading and offloading parts when deliveries are made, double checking orders to ensure accuracy.
    • Taking orders from customers at time of delivery as applicable.
    • Building relationships with customers in order to better meet their needs.
    • Communicating effectively with customers.
    • Operating delivery vehicles safely, obeying traffic laws, and following established traffic and transportation procedures.
    • Managing delivery time and schedule effectively and efficiently.
    • Picking up orders from vendors on a routine basis.
    • Shipping product to customers and other company owned locations as well as sending out returns and warranties.
    • Packing, sealing, labeling, or affixing postage to prepare materials for shipping using hand tools or postage meters.
    • Identifying discrepancies in inventory counts and taking appropriate corrective action as necessary.
    • Maintaining warehouse cleanliness through disposing of trash, sweeping, dusting shelves and merchandise, etc.
    • Operating a forklift to carry out daily duties.
    • Managing time effectively and efficiently.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will be ambitious, career-driven, and looking to excel within the company. 

     

    • Must be at least 18 years old
    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • No experience required
    • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
    • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 120 pounds
