Responsibilities

  • Support each of the dealership departments by completing routine tasks, duties, and responsibilities. 
  • Assist the General Manager and other departments in projects.
  • Answer and direct calls using the multi-line phone system.
  • Greet customers and guests and direct them according to their needs.
  • Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables invoices.
  • Balance the dealership cash drawer on a daily basis.
  • Process customer payments.
  • Account for, verify, and scan invoices into the system.
  • Assist in coordinating dealership events.
  • Conduct new hire orientations.
  • Open and sort mail.
  • Order office supplies.
  • Coordinate Sales Drivers and assist in tracking mileage.
  • Serve as a backup for other administrative positions within the dealership.
  • Code invoices according to company policy and procedure.
  • Coordinate with others to troubleshoot as necessary. 
  • Manage time effectively and efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • No experience required
  • Capable of working under direction with some supervision and receiving guidance as necessary.
  • The ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as financial reports, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and technical procedures. The ability to write reports, business correspondence, and to respond to common inquiries or complaints.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Ability to apply common sense to solve practical problems and deal with variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Proficient computer skills including e-mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
