As a CIT Trucks, LLC Truck Sales Representative, you will be required to conduct regular sales calls ranging from large business corporations to individual owner/operators.

  • Market medium-duty and heavy-duty trucks to end-user customers.
  • Assist customers in selecting/ordering trucks by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
  • Use all reasonable methods of prospecting for new and used truck customers on a daily basis, either by telephone or by making calls to individuals and businesses outside the dealership.
  • Provide follow-up and ongoing service to existing customers.
  • Offer service to all walk-in and call-in customers on assigned floor days.
  • Obtain CDL license and be able to safely drive a Class 8 truck.
  • Demonstrate new and used trucks to customer which may include test drives.
  • Write complete and accurate sales orders, secure deposits, and process paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies.
  • Deliver new and used trucks, explaining all warranties and dealership after-sale services.
  • Study truck and equipment specifications on a continual basis to improve knowledge of product performance and application.
  • Appraise used trucks when necessary and complete Used Truck Inspection Report in accordance with company policy.

  • Desire to set and attain goals while conducting business honestly and integrity
  • Agricultural or mechanical backgrounds have been proven beneficial
  • College degree or related sales experience preferred
