Responsibilities

As a Finance Representative for Central Truck Finance, you will be responsible for the marketing of Finance and Leasing products within an assigned territory.  You will primarily support the CIT Trucks' new and used truck sales efforts and Central Truck Leasing's leasing efforts.  The representative is required to coordinate financing and leasing requests from introduction, through the credit review process and documentation of the transactions.  The customer base will be comprised of large business corporations, small independent fleets with local ownership, and individual owner operators.  To be successful, you must be innovative and aggressive in your efforts to secure financing and insurance solutions for a variety of prospects.  If you’re motivated and driven to succeed, this is the position for you.

 

Responsibilities are as follows:

  • Assist customers in financing their truck purchases by asking questions, listening carefully to their responses, to create financing options that will serve the customers needs and assist in the sale of our products.
  • Provide assistance, coordination, and training to all CIT Trucks sales representatives to utilize Central Truck Finance on every sale.
  • Prospect for finance and insurance customers on a daily basis.
  • Prepare weekly sales call reports and sales pipeline reports detailing contact and quote activity.
  • Collect accurate and complete financial data on all finance and insurance customers in accordance with company guidelines to support sound financial decision making.
  • Evaluate each prospective customer's credit worthiness.
  • Provide follow-up and ongoing service to existing customers.
  • Effectively communicate CIT Trucks and Central Truck Finance's after-market strengths and total customer support philosophy.
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • College degree or commensurate experience in Finance or Business Management preferred.
  • Multi-lingual skills preferred.
  • Strong mathematic and analytical skills required.
  • Working knowledge of computers and basic software applications.
  • Understanding of business finance.
  • Existing knowledge or the ability to develop understanding of truck equipment values.
  • Knowledge of leasing and finance programs.
  • Outgoing personality and strong interpersonal skills with dedication to building long-term customer and vendor relations.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Desire to set and attain goals while conducting business honestly and with integrity.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to set and attain goals.
